Fractured Coconut Oil

Fractionated coconut oil, is also known as “liquid coconut oil.”  It is a form of the coconut oil that uses a fraction of the whole Coconut oil.

Fractionated coconut oil is made by using steam and pressure hydrolysis of coconut oil into glycerol and free fatty acids.

This one change makes the oil liquid at room temperature. Fractured oil also extends the product’s shelf life.  One of the fatty acids that’s mostly removed in fractionation is lauric acid—a type of “healthy” saturated fat found in high quantities in coconut and palm kernel oils. It’s a great fat to have in skin care because it’s so moisturizing and cleansing. Removing it, though, gives us the liquid product we need to use in items like our Herbal Facial Oils.
Fractured Coconut Oil still has the natural antioxidants vitamins A, C, and E.

Fractured coconut oil is orderless, colorless and does not stain your clothes, bed sheets or other fabrics.

Fractionated coconut oil is completely soluble with other oils, which makes it the perfect carrier oil, capable of ushering other oils into the skin. It’s also extremely light, and absorbs quickly into the skin.  The fractured oil will not clog your pores.   Your skin will feel soft and moisturized and does not leave your skin feeling oily whatsoever.  As a moisturizer, the only thing I miss is the coconut scent.  This fracturized oil does not have a coconut scent.  But with all the many benificial uses and great shelf life, I can over look it having no scent.

I think some good reasons for not having the coconut scent is when you use it along with your essential oils which are scented.  Or if you use this oil to season your cast iron pans.  You don’t necessarily want your chicken, steak or other foods to have a coconut scent.

Fractured coconut oil is also well known for its superiority as a carrier oil in many perfumes.

You can also add a little bit of fractured coconut oil in your shampoo to help moisturized your hair.

Fractured coconut oil can also be used to season your cast iron pans, polish patent leather, remove chewing gum, and clean shower scum by putting some coconut oil on a rag.  Just scrub the area with the rag with the coconut oil on it.

There are so many uses for fractured coconut oil.  I would highly recommend this product to family and friends.

I purchased this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
